| The B5000 Scooter Club was originally formed in
1983 by a group of scooter riding mates in the
village of Polesworth on the outskirts of Tamworth,
the main road through Polesworth is the B5000 and
that is where the name of the club originates from. |

riders coming together for the sole purpose of the enjoyment of scootering. Many are serious rally
going scooterists whilst others are more casual but still enjoy the social and casual approach that
scootering offers. After all, not everyone’s lifestyle allows them to partake as often as they would like.

| The LASC was established in 2004 by Andy Muncie (Loughborough) Mark The Mod (Loughborough) & myself Zak (Leicester).
It came about because Leicester & Loughborough scooterists used to meet up every Wednesday, but it was getting a bit stale so we thought we would unite & travel to the far corners of Leicestershire taking onboard.. Melton, Shepshed, Market Harborough, Coalville & Rutland along the way who were all keen to join this easy going no subs just pubsclub.

| The club meets on the first Sunday of the month at the Welby pub Nottingham road Melton, have a couple of drinks and a ride out. We also get together every Wednesday evening (weather permitting) for another ride out, meeting up with the Leicester, Loughborough, Syston, Market Harbro and Shepshed lads as part of the Leicestershire Alliance Scooter Club. During the summer we attend the vintage vehicle meet at Ashby Folville on the second Tuesday of each month. We also aim to get to as many rallies, custom shows and parts fairs as we can. |

| Mercia scooter club started early last year 2006 after a group of mates had been riding together for some years.
They decided it was time to make the club official and decided on giving the club a name..Mercia.. Which is from the anglo-saxons meaning, Kingdom of the midlands.
There were originally about five members Mercia and now it stands with around 40+ and gaining new members on a regular basis.
Mercia s.c. has no subs,no politics and only the one rule...
Freedom of scootering to all its members. |
